BITBUS(more information here!)

BITBUS is a fieldbus used to interconnect stand-alone control units, terminals, data-loggers etc. It is especially suited to interchange medium-sized data telegrams (typ. 10..250 bytes) even at long distances (several kilometers).

• ELZET80 opens all ways for BITBUS access (Ethernet, USB, PC-add-on ISA, PCI, PC/104 and PCI-express
• Nearly all ELZET80 boards can work as BITBUS nodes
• Master and slave operation on all nodes
• We do custom designs for BITBUS
• User programming is available on all nodes, inclusive of user master tasks for alert managment and data aggregation
• Arbitrary message lengths within the 250 bytes BITBUS spec
• Standard data rates of 62.5 and 375 kBit/s plus 1.5 MBit
• WDM drivers for Windows®2000, XP, 2003 and Vista
• Our drivers support "Outstanding messages", up to 16 applications and up to 6 boards at a time
